I think Warriors should stay as is.
Two handed weapons could go to new, less armored Prof, as suggested on this thread:

yes i think it would be better going to a new class but what it would be is another thing altogether i would like to see 2 handers being able to use by all of the different classes (not that necros and eles and mesmers will use them) and it would be good to see if they can create a good weapon for a new class also

allso im not sure if im the only that has noticed but have any of you noticed that the long swords handles can actually use both hands, the length is long enogh for it if you look closly. its the same with the goddamn fellblade and any other kind of long blade so why did they just make a single and not a double tell me that

Because traditionally swords, even 1 handed swords, had longer hilts to help counterbalance the weight of the blade. In the case of the Bastard sword, could have beena 2 handed sword or 1 depending on the warrior using it.

I think the best idea would be double yielding weapons, 2 axes or such would look and perform much better then having a two handed weapon...

Dual weilding has been approached in these forums before, while I would enjoy it, don't think its as practical to initiate into the game. I hope Im wrong as I would love to see it, but I see 2 handed weapons before dual weilding.

I really want some kind of two-handed katana so my ninja ( R/W ) actually looks like one. :P

If only.
Don't see it happening unless they add a new skill tree fro 2H Swords or toss em in with the hammers.
Don't get me wrong. I'd love it, as well as 2H Axes. But I get the feeling that the "OMG DU3L BL4D3 N1NJ4Z!"(no offence Flaxx) crowd will get what they want. Despite this game having an evidently medieval theme.

i was looking at then design a weapon contest and it said that NEW weapon TYPES were coming BUT it is best if you just design the following
ONE handed sword
Sheild
ect ect
So i think when they say ONE handed sword that i think they are maiing two handed so it look kinda promising any one think the same??

how about this two handed swords deal 1.5x as much damage so it would deal 22.5-33 (hope i did the math right :P) and maybe have a +5 base armor (to act almost like a shield)...
-plus-
DUEL WIELDING!
double the attack speed but cut the dmg by ~25% (it'd be like Flurry only always active)
and for those who will gripe about upgrades it's simple two upgrades only: if one sword had a fort upgrade and an adreline upgrade the other can ONLY have a fort and adreline EQUAL to that of a max version (ie if i have a 2% furious hilt and a 10% furious hilt i only get 10% but if i have a 5%furious and a 6%furious hilt i get 10%; same with fort cap it at +30hp) also have the +5 armor base (meaning it's not an upgrade) added to the offhand weapon...
